Hello, friends!
If we haven’t met yet, my name is Isabella, but my friends call me Isa. I’m the founder of Isa Joelie, and I wanted to give you a little glimpse into my life to see why I up and decided to create a clothing brand. It’s story time.

Once upon a time, I was 16 years old waking up on a hospital bed (tragic, I know) hearing the words “Endometriosis” and “we need to pull out the big guns,” whatever that means. Endometriosis is a reproductive disease that affects one out of ten women and affects the entire body at all times. From then on, my struggle with chronic illness ensued. A year later, I got diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which affects my joints from working properly. A year after that, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia due to the two surgeries and stress my body was under due to my Endo. Finally, I got diagnosed with the cherry on top: Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, or POTS.
Long story long (this is my favorite phrase of all time because when do I ever tell a short story), my relationship with chronic illness has been quite exciting and always a roulette. (This is when something changes.)

It was the summer of 2025, and I was visiting a friend of mine who lived in Niceville, Florida, which is just a stones throw away from Destin (cool, right?). I was talking about how I could never find anything that fit well, was comfy, and actually enjoyable to wear (this is a lie. I threw a tantrum). My dear friend, Selah (in the picture to the right!) kindly shared that I should start my own business (actually she said “stop complaining and start designing your own clothes”).
And there you have it. I immediately began designing the pieces I wanted to create and started researching how I could make this happen. While my designs are currently in the process of being made, I am so excited to share this exciting journey with you all and look forward to the day where we all wear clothes that work with us, not against us.
If you made it this far, I would love to hear what product designs you would love to see in the Isa Joelie Collection!
